Synopsis
This sweet romantic comedy reunites “Sleepless In Seattle” stars Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. He’s the owner of a bookstore chain; she’s the woman he falls for online. Both are unaware that she runs the little shop his company is trying to shut down.
Why does this depict my life?
Whilst I was tempted to answer this with Bad Boy Bubby, Taxi Driver or The Shining for laughs I have to choose You’ve Got Mail. Reason is that I found my dream girl over the internet and have moved cross country to be with her. The other storyline bits have nothing in common with my life.

Thats grand man. I have moved from one side of Australia to the other based on meeting in an IRC chat room. Yes the dark ages of IRC was where we first made contact, and whilst we weren’t necessarily looking for an e-mail, we were always looking for that first message each session. I moved over within a few years and we are still strong to the point we may aswell be married.
I should make an effort and rewatch this film the next time it is run on pay-tv over here. Been a long time and I may get more out of it now than I did then.
