Yes, christmas once again is over & done with for another year. It is amazing how quickly it has passed however this year was a little different for us, with having family only stay 1 night. Normally we have a crew here for a couple of days. Also we had the joy of an extra person over that time being SK's sister Duff. She sure did enjoy her first Sydney xmas with us with many more to come. I do know however that Dad was sadly missed on the day & knowing he spent Xmas Day at home alone in Freo made me feel somewhat sombre as well.

SK got a nice surprise when opening the iPod to find not an 80gb but a 160gb engraved lovingly from me. It is nice giving someone something you know they will treasure & it was asked for. The only problem with that is that the gift receiver knows what they are getting. Therefore SK had a few other little gifts under the tree from me being the Potting Bench & a new Wii game amongst other things.

I have been enjoying the labour spent in the gardening It has not been back breaking work & fairly trouble free. I am proud to say that I do indeed have my own little vegie patches, which are converted recycling containers. Inside I have cucumber fruiting, but I seem to have lost the battle with my miniature pumpkin & one of the zuccini plants. I am looking forward to sowing some seeds later today as well as planting my corn seedlings into a new vegie tub.
