This is simply a load of crap and cry babying. Yes the advertising was negative, however this form of advertising is years old. In fact in the last WA election it was the Liberal party running the gutter advertising. That said the overwhelming loss that Colin Barnett suffered at that election came from an absolutely crazy policy to construct a canal to ship water from the North of the state to the south. The reason the Liberals have lost the 2007 NSW Election is the devout lack of policy and a leader that has failed to construct an air of trust, despite being seen in budgie smugglers on the campaign. Mr Debnam must now be seriously considering resigning as the opposition leader after running a clearly failed campaign. I am not surprised with no real effective campaigning from any other prospective member. Mr Greene had many placards along the streets of Oatley, and had a profile. The 2 major parties were ranked 7 (incompetent Incumbent) and 8 (Weak Budgie Smugglers Mob) out of 8 candidates. As for the upper house, the sight of 100 boxes and a sheet of paper 2 election booths wide (why do theses things get printed in 24 point?) ensured I marked only one box. It went to the Fishing Party. I do though believe Mr Iemma will get the win. It will be reduced minority. I also agree that it is sad when the other side simply has not put forward a strong case to pick them. Heres hope that at the end of the year there will be more strong policies coming from both sides that encourage Australians to actually consider their vote.
