Puppetry of the Inferior

A puppet is any controlled character. It may be formed by a shadow, strings, by using a glove, by direct mechanical contrivance or electronic guidance. The last method is also termed as animatronics. Digital animated figures may also be hailed as puppets. Because they are often supplanted by physical puppets for closeups. Puppets moved by strings are also known as marionettes. – Encyclocentral http://www.encyclocentral.com/4294-Puppets_Marionettes.html

Of late I have observed several instances of people with inferior intellect being manipulated like marionettes via inciteful and intelligent comments on the web.
In most, if not all, instances it is a definate case of the primary school yard argument based along the lines that they did this so I will do that. However, in these instances the arguments of one side are continually strong and well aimed, whilst the other is pitifully weak and poorly aimed with its intent consistently lost. An example of this is creationism or evolution, where one side is based on an ideological belief versus scientific fact. Others are far more localised to the individuals involved.
However, in all cases like this it is clear to see who are the puppets and the puppeteers in these arguments. The real irony is that the puppet often is the instigator of the war and are so self delusional they claim to be the puppeteer. The truth of the matter is that their inferior intellect leads them to continue the argument and take the argument in a juvenile direction to the point of personal abuse, often based on such insignificant factors as a typographical mistake.
These puppets also then turn to juvenile tactics such as altering posts of dissenters and further corrupting the opposing sides viewpoint. Sadly though these marionettes often have hand puppets as hangers on. They chime in with equally unresearched views, and because of the marionettes unethical behaviour in censoring dissenters input the finger puppets are left with no balance and are drones.
There are are proliferation of these battles across the web and are easy to find. It is indeed a laugh when you don’t really have a view point on the arguments at hand, but to see the manipulation of an individual marrionette, or a puppet troupe, by text on a page is hilarious.

It’s even more fun holding the strings and making the puppet dance ;)

I’ve been doing that for sometime now on one of the Internet’s most well known Marionette’s. Its reaction time is superb. You tell it to lie down and play dead… and guess what… it does! hahahaha
