I run a number of directory sites quite successfully and until now my only bugbear has been the sheer number of lazy submissions. Now I have complete rudeness pervading from the same mass submitters. For example, I have received two e-mails with the following text today:
We had received your mail some days ago, you told that we will placed
ur link but still we could not find our link on ur site,so please add our
link instantly with in 24 hours otherwise, we will remove ur link from our
site.
Now just to be clear the email sent to this submitter was:
Thanks for submitting your site to the Artoo Links – SEO Friendly
Directory Droid. Details collected are:Title – Removed as I do not want to associate this site with the rudeness of its mass submission services
URL – Removed as I do not want to associate this site with the rudeness of its mass submission services
Description – Removed as I do not want to associate this site with the rudeness of its mass submission services
Owner – WebmasterYour site will be reviewed shortly for compliance with the Acceptable Use
Policy. You will recieve a confirmation email once it has been approved.Thank you,

No where in that text does it imply there is a definate time frame for inclusion. Further, just because you are offering me a link is not a contract for me to reciprocate immediately.
